Oh goodness, we are poorly in our house this week…poor Miss Peyton Jane started it on the weekend, then her Mum, then me and now her Dad – we’re hoping that’s where it ends and her Poppy doesn’t get it also…it’s been a spewy kind of week! (sorry for that visual)

As it happens, my brother is currently on annual leave, did you know that he can convert his annual leave to sick leave?

According to Fairwork: If an employee is sick or injured while on annual leave, the employee can use their paid sick or carer’s leave entitlement instead of using their annual leave. The employer can still request the employee provide notice and evidence when taking sick or carer’s leave while on annual leave.

Something for you all to keep in mind, just know that I wouldn’t wish how we’ve been feeling this week on anyone!
