About

Bron Levett is an accountant, retired fitness instructor, community volunteer and committee member, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, friend, coach, networker…and by her own admission, an avid shopper (although she is just as comfortable at home in her slippers and pyjamas as she is out and about in heels and she loves a designer handbag!)

Born and raised in regional Victoria, after completing university she took a great leap of faith in moving to the outback…Alice Springs!

Living and working in the Northern Territory was an amazing experience, but when her mother became ill, Bron returned to Victoria and worked in Melbourne for six years.  Her mother’s death in 2000 prompted the move home to the coastal town of Warrnambool where she began work at one of the region’s largest accounting firms.

Despite initially believing she would see out her career with the firm, Bron gradually decided that she wanted to try something different.  Never wanting to turn her back on the education and experience she had accumulated, Bron set out to complete her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (to add another string to her bow) and combined that with her Bachelor of Commerce, a fellowship of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Registered Tax Agent status, and membership of the National Tax Accountants Association,

is the next step in her journey.

Bron has heard countless stories of people seeing accountants, putting on a brave face and then walking away completely bamboozled from the experience.  Through her work, Bron wants to empower women with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions now and into the future.

The Tax Chic is a safe place to ask all the finance related questions you’ve ever been afraid to ask before…there is no judgement, only sound explanations that are easy to understand…“It’s about answering the questions women have that they may have been too shy to ask” she says.

For Bron, the key is women supporting women and ensuring they have a strong belief in themselves and their abilities…having said that, she knows a few men who might gain from the information The Tax Chic provides…so don’t be afraid to share this page with the men in your life!

Bron, you’re definitely the girl to ask for an explanation “in my terminology”, all those frustrating and technical questions. What a fantastic concept; as “The Tax Chic”, you’ll be great.
